Bundt Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Baking Free Gluten-Free all purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature, plus more for greasing pan)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur (orange juice can be substituted)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Confectioners' sugar

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
Grease a bundt pan well and set aside.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 4
In a large measuring cup, mix together the milk and orange liqueur (or orange juice).
Step 5
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream together the butter and sugar until well combined.
Step 6
Add the eggs, vanilla and orange zest. Mix until you have a creamy looking mixture.
Step 7
Add the flour mixture and, with the motor running on medium, drizzle in the milk and orange flavored liquid. Mix just until the batter is smooth.
Step 8
Pour into the prepared pan and bake until cooked through, around 1 hour and 10 minutes. Check by inserting a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
Step 9
Allow to cool completely, then invert the cake onto a platter.
Step 10
Dust with confectioners' sugar or make a drizzle of confectioners's sugar and water to glaze over cake.
